the 'House of Soul'.

Last night, my favorite house in Detroit, the 'House of Soul' was been burned to the ground. Very upsetting. 

Not only was this house a symbol for the spirit of our city's deep musical heritage, it also represented to me how one individual can make beautiful art out of what others have left behind.. 

Open your eyes people, and make something beautiful with what you've had right in front of you all along..
